LINZ has today published the interim standard for dealing with coastal reclaimed land. This is a new standard and is effective from 3 October 2011.

 LINZS15004 - Interim Standard for dealing with coastal reclaimed land

 This standard sets out the requirements for applications for, and the vesting of interests in, marine and coastal reclaimed land to ensure that applications are dealt with in a fair and transparent process and comply with the provisions of Part 2, Subpart 3 of the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011. All applications for, and the vesting of interests in, marine and coastal reclaimed land should be in accordance with this interim standard.
