Property Professional Award
This award will be presented to a property professional who works directly for Local Government nominated by their manager or peers who meet any of the following criteria:
- Have a positive impact on the people and team around them.
- Undertaken and successfully completed a project of complexity outside of the ordinary or regular for the duties in their role.
- Undertaken/facilitated a property related outcome(s) or project(s) of significant benefit.
- Demonstrated or developed innovative approaches to the management of assets.
- Their initiatives have significantly improved the service provided.
- Demonstrated initiative, innovation, leadership.

Introducing… The Mike Kerr Award for the Property Professional of the year
The LAPA Executive team have decided to rename our 2020 Property Professional Award to ‘The Mike Kerr Award for the Property Professional of the year’.
The award is presented to a Property Professional demonstrating a drive to achieve the best outcomes for their organisation/community and doing so with the commitment like that demonstrated by Mike Kerr in his beloved Central Otago.
Mike was a highly dedicated professional and member of our executive who sadly passed away in November 2019.
